JoAnne Udal has over 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience specializing in Drug Safety and Medical Writing. Her career experience also extends to Pharmacovigilance (PV) Strategy, PV Vendor Management, Risk Management planning for high-profile company products, successful execution of Safety Data and Exchange Agreements, and streamlining of PV Operations during acquisitions and mergers.

Career highlights include the successful coordination and implementation of FDA electronic submissions for a publicly traded $2+ billion company and her role as Designated Drug Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME) for global companies such as Astellas, Baxter, and Guerbet during industry audits. Her extensive knowledge within therapeutic areas includes but is not limited to oncology products on the fast-track for accelerated FDA approval, contrast agents for diagnostic and interventional imaging, and new indications for aesthetic injectable products.

In 2014, JoAnne pursued her passion for entrepreneurship as the owner and operator of a local fitness studio in Scottsdale, AZ. Her efforts were rewarded with recognition in the So Scottsdale! and Arizona Foothills Magazine as one of the best new fitness studios in 2016.

JoAnne holds an MBA in General Business/Marketing Management from DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a PharmD from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
