Hard to believe it has been a week since we brought 16 startups from the the Pacific Northwest to The Runway Innovation Hub in downtown San Francisco to connect with potential investors and partners! We organized this event to showcase some of the amazing work happening in healthcare innovation in Portland and Seattle. Startups ranged from pre-seed to post-revenue and were looking to connect around investment, resources and partnerships. Technologies featured included AI and big data analytics, sensors and wearables, diagnostics, medication adherence, telemedicine and care management, clinical workflow, mental health and more. With a focus on healthcare innovation, we also heard case studies from the W.L. Gore Innovation Center and KP Ventures on how they approach partnerships with startups.
